Chicken with cashews and chillies (kung pao)

Ingredients

  • 400g chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 small red pepper, diced
  • 1 small green pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 70g roasted peanuts
  • 6 dried chillies (optional)
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 100 ml Go-Tan Original Wok Soy Sesame sauce

Method

  1. Wash and prepare the vegetables. Try to make sure that all the ingredients are cut into similar sized pieces.
  2. Heat a wok or frying pan. Add the oil and fry the chicken, onion and chillies, if using, for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the peppers and celery. Cook for 1 minute and then add the sauce. Cook further for 1-2 minutes. Taste, and if needed, add more seasoning and/or cook for longer.
  4. Remove from the heat and add the peanuts.
  5. Serve with noodles or rice.
